Our Story
Since opening their doors in 2014, James Beard-nominated restaurateurs Jeffery and Michael Mastro developed their epicurean magnum opus alongside father Dennis and business partner Scott Trolio. Steak 44 delivers exceptional hospitality, authentic ingredients, and a warm, luxurious atmosphere to create the totality of the experience.
Together, the Mastros redefined what the classic American steakhouse looks like while maintaining its traditional charm. Today, Steak 44 remains unmatched for fine, intimate dining and has become a popular destination for private events, special celebrations, and company outings in Phoenix and Scottsdale, AZ.
Our Ingredients
Our menu features USDA Prime steaks sourced from the farms of America’s heartland. While most of our guests visit Steak 44 for a taste of our legendary steaks, we also offer high-quality lamb, pork, and fresh seafood. Enjoy your pick of succulent Alaskan king crab, Maine lobster, and Hawaiian poke from our raw bar, including hand-picked oysters from the Atlantic and Pacific ocean.
